Street Smarts seeks to harmonize the natural and built environment by providing design, construction, and consulting services to create walkable communities.

Traffic Calming

After 6,000 years of building cities at human scale, humans spent the last century building cities that prioritized automobile travel but with now record obesity rates, insolvent budgets, record pollution levels, and a desire for more human connection that is quickly changing. We focus our work on taking back space to create communities that are walkable, connected, healthy, and equitable.

Micromobility Infrastructure

Bikes, scooters, and other small electric powered or active transportation vehicles are powerful tools for creating healthy, livable communities. Bikes, scooters, etc. are quickly becoming a popular way to travel in cities, as they are cheaper, healthier, more environmentally friendly and arguably more fun than traveling in an automobile. However, this form of transportation can be dangerous and difficult without the proper infrastructure. We are experts on building infrastructure to allow for safe and convenient micromobility travel.
